Waco ISD has a wonderful opportunity to enhance your classroom teaching in a virtual world. This educational opportunity is at www.whyville.com. WISD 8th graders will get an opportunity to participate in a pilot program offered by the Texas Workforce Commission and Numdeon, Inc. In this pilot project the teachers that participate will be entitled to a stipend to help in the development of Whyville as a tool in the classroom.
